5. Pour milk in a small pot and warm over low heat. Stir to mix the fat and liquid.
6. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir. If adding honey and/or vanilla extract, stir those in as well.
7. Pour mixture into a blender, and blend for 2 minutes.
8. Pour into a glass bottle and shake. Allow to cool on the counter while shaking periodically, then store in the fridge in a glass container. Best if consumed within 1 week.
