Absolutely. In fact, Essentials is best used with CytoActives™ for the greatest antioxidant benefits.

Essentials for Men™ and Women™ – If this has age-defying properties, do I really need to take CytoActives™?

While it’s not necessary, it is recommended because CytoActives contains ingredients not found in Essentials for Men and Essentials for Women, including CoQ10 and Resveratrol, which are key for supporting healthy aging.

Essentials for Men™ and Women™ – Why should I take a multivitamin?

According to a review in the Journal of American Medical Association in 2002, there is “strong evidence” that the North American diet only provides “suboptimal levels” of vitamins and minerals and that supplementation with a multivitamin dietary supplement can help to bolster long-term cardiovascular health, cell health and bone health. Essentials contains the vitamins and minerals in the amounts needed to support healthy aging.

Essentials for Men™ and Women™ – I’ve always taken a once daily multivitamin because it’s convenient. Why should I change?

While a once daily multivitamin may breakdown in your stomach, the vitamins and minerals may not be readily available for absorption. In fact, your body can only absorb so much nutrition at a given time before it flushes out what it fails to absorb. That’s why we recommend taking four tablets throughout the day. This spreads out the servings so they are more available for absorption during the day. Essentials tablets are best taken with meals throughout the day.

Essentials for Men™ and Women™ – Should I take Essentials if I’m on medications?

Essentials was designed to be as safe as possible. However, as always and with any ingestible supplement, we recommend that persons under medical care, including those taking medications, consult with their physician before use.

If you miss a serving, there is no need to take more with the next serving. Simply continue with the regular schedule.
